The Non-Profit Accountant ensures ACAM, vendor, and sub-grantee compliance with government grant requirements and other restricted funds; provides technical assistance and continuous quality assurance to grant funded partners for fiscal and programmatic compliance matters; performs fiscal and personnel management, reporting, and other operational duties. This is an in office position. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm or 8 am – 5 pm.

Benefits Access Program Manager

ACAM serves as the coordinating agent for the Benefits Access Program to increase the number of eligible families with children enrolled in public safety-net benefits. The Benefits Access Program Manager is responsible for building the capacity of a network of community-based service providers to conduct outreach and enrollment campaigns. The Benefits Access Program Manager will provide oversight of all aspects of benefits application assistance services; serve as a liaison with contracted service providers; provide training, technical assistance, and monitoring to ensure consistent, high-quality services; perform routine data analysis to measure program success; and oversee program evaluation and dissemination of findings, best practices, and recommendations.

Naturalization Programs Manager

ACAM seeks a Naturalization Programs Manager r to lead the initiative through building and stewarding relationships, advancing programmatic and policy efforts that increase naturalization outreach, and increasing community education and successful application rates. The program will provide grassroots outreach, education, and culturally competent navigation through a continuum of new and existing naturalization and barrier removal services for the nearly 300,000 lawful permanent residents (LPRs) that live in Greater Houston. The Naturalization Programs Manager will serve in a critical role to develop organizational and network capacity to use a wholistic ecosystem building approach that goes beyond the activities of a single organization to create a vibrant interconnected system to facilitate the successful civic, economic, and cultural integration of our immigrant friends and neighbors.

Part-Time Navigation Specialist

Greater Houston Opportunity Youth Collaborative (GHOYC) Project Manager

ACAM seeks a GHOYC Project Manager to:

  1. Oversee the successful implementation, documentation, and scaling of two reconnection strategies to reengage Opportunity Youth (“OY”, 16 – 24-year-olds who are not in school and not working) into post-secondary education, vocational education, or employment opportunities.
  2. Lead and manage the stakeholder network, consisting of representatives from nonprofit organizations, local government, philanthropy and youth leaders.
  3. Supervise the OY Engagement Coordinator, VISTA and Peer Navigator(s), volunteers and other staff as assigned.
