DESCRIPTION:OPEN TO THE PUBLIC as well as ACAM Network organizations\, All Access Pass and All Access Pass Plus members. \nDo you want to learn more about barriers that prevent families from achieving self-sufficiency? Do you want to learn more about the people you help and their individual needs? How can you highlight individual strengths that might help your clients achieve greater self-sufficiency? This session will introduce you to the Self-Sufficiency Matrix\, a tool that can guide you and your client to a better understanding of factors that limit their financial security.  \nJoin us on Tuesday\, February 22\, 2022\, from 9:00 am–10:30 am for an ACAM Program Development Training & Networking workshop.  Paula Pipes\, of Pipes Research & Consulting\, will introduce you to the Self-Sufficiency Matrix (SSM) assessment tool.  We will discuss the 24 factors that have become the standard for assessing an individual’s strengths and weaknesses.  We will examine ways in which the SSM can be implemented to do more for clients than just meet their basic needs.  This is part one of a two part series on the SSM. In fact\, strategically aligning your messaging and community engagement can directly impact organizational sustainability. There\, she coordinates trainings\, technical assistance\, and other capacity building services with domestic violence survivor and perpetrator programs in Texas. In addition\, she serves as an auditor of state funded perpetrator programs and facilitates a variety of trainings throughout the state.  Claire is a graduate of Rice University.
